Police Visit

Today we had a very exciting visit from Tunbridge Wells Police, who arrived in their undercover police car! 🚓✨
Our children had the wonderful opportunity to meet the officers, ask questions and have a chat about what the police do within our community. They enjoyed getting an insight into the important role police officers play, while also having lots of fun exploring some police props and even taking part in some colouring activities! 🎨👮‍♂️
Visits like this are a fantastic way to help children build positive relationships with members of our local community. Meeting police officers in a friendly and relaxed environment can help children feel comfortable approaching them, understand that officers are there to help and keep people safe, and develop an early awareness of the wider community around them.
At Banana Moon Day Nursery Tunbridge Wells, we love creating opportunities for our children to learn through real-life experiences, ask questions and connect with the wonderful people who help make our community a safe and welcoming place. 💛
A huge thank you to Tunbridge Wells Police for taking the time to visit us today — the children had a fantastic time! 🚔🌟
